Unsettled Forms

In this modular installation, fragments become a language for navigating the liminality of home.  

Each porcelain ring is shaped by hand, fired and rejoined and reconfigured in cycles that resist finality - mirroring how home, too, may be provisional, shifting, and continually remade.  Natural abaca fiber and fragments of indigenous weave carry material resistance and cultural memory, linking personal gesture to broader questions of identity, diaspora, and belonging.

The undone links suggest that the work is not complete: home is constantly redefined. The piece invites the viewer to sit with this unsettledness- to co-make, reconfigure and image alongside.
